This policy describes how Extract page info with one click handles information to extract webpage details and copy page text or selected text. The extension does not require a separate account.
The extension can read a page's title, URL, description, headings, paragraphs and links to produce the information you request. This processing happens in your browser. The publisher does not receive or store this content on a server.
The extension does not declare persistent host permissions or automatically load content scripts across websites. Only after you choose a popup action or invoke an extension keyboard shortcut does it use activeTab temporary access and scripting to inject bundled code into the current tab. Once activated, that document listens for selection events and temporarily remembers selected text to support a floating copy button and popup copying. This listener ends when the document is reloaded or closed; a new document requires another explicit action. The extension does not keep a persistent history of selected text or extracted pages.
A copy button or extension keyboard shortcut writes the requested text to your system clipboard. The extension does not read existing clipboard contents. Copied text may remain in the clipboard or operating-system clipboard history according to your device settings, and other applications may access it under their own permissions. Clearing a webpage does not clear your clipboard.
The extension saves the language preference and the current privacy-setting value through chrome.storage.sync. Your browser provider may synchronise these preferences between devices when browser sync is enabled. Webpage text and selected text are not saved to this sync storage. The publisher does not operate the browser's sync service.
In version 1.3.1, the privacy-setting checkbox saves a preference only; changing it does not enable any server-side processing. Page content is processed locally in either setting.
The extension does not send webpage content, selected text or browsing history to the publisher, analytics services, advertising services or external AI services. It does not sell this information or use it for advertising, creditworthiness or lending decisions. Data is used only for the page-extraction and copying features described here, consistent with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy and its Limited Use requirements.
All executable extension code is included in the installation package. The extension does not download and execute remote code.
The remembered selection is held in page memory until replaced or the page context is destroyed, such as when the page is reloaded or closed. Preferences remain in browser storage until changed or cleared through the browser's extension-data and sync controls. You can change language in Settings, restrict site access or disable/uninstall the extension through your browser, and separately clear your device's clipboard history. The publisher has no server-side copy of extracted content to delete.
The published policy page is hosted using GitHub Pages. Requests to this page are handled by GitHub under its own privacy practices; this page contains no added analytics scripts or tracking cookies.
For privacy questions, use the public contact information or project links on the maintainer's GitHub profile. Avoid posting sensitive webpage content in public issues. This policy will be updated when the extension's data handling changes.

语言偏好和当前隐私设置值保存在 chrome.storage.sync 中。启用浏览器同步后，浏览器提供商可能会在设备之间同步这些偏好设置；网页正文和选中文字不会写入该同步存储。发布者不运营此同步服务。
